Hello everyone, I can't believe that it's October already.  It's as if September quickly vanished in a rain cloud. Already, I'm seeing Hallowe'en displays in the stores and, yes, Christmas ones, too. While fall is one of my favourite seasons, for many of us the shorter days can be a real time to wind down. Our bodies almost demand us to gear down energy-wise.  Add to that the transition of working back on campus during COVID-19 and we can end up feeling depleted and drained.

Each month, our Advocacy Committee answers your questions about the AD 10 policies (aka, your terms and conditions of employment.) Hello, I'm Mike Peragine, an advocate on APSA's Advocacy Committee. On behalf of the Committee, I'm answering your question related to returning to campus.
Arbitrations and Grievances APSA is representing numerous members with grievances on bullying and harassment and hours of work. We can't give any details due to confidentiality issues. Please see this infographic on the Life of a Grievance to learn more about how the grievance process works.
The University recently updated its Bullying and Harassment policy GP 47. There's been a lot of SFU communication on the revised policy, a website, a webform, a flowchart and other tool kits available to all of the SFU community. What has changed, and how would an APSA member go through the Bullying and Harassment process?
