Recently, we've been analyzing the reports and findings of bullying and harassment cases made over the past four years. These are cases where APSA members are typically the complainants—are filing a complaint alleging bullying and harassment against someone else at the University. After celebrating a jubilant Pride parade this past weekend after a three-year hiatus and seeing the enthusiastic crowds that showed their support, I began to wonder if the LGBTQ+ community feels that same support at work? In 2020, McKinsey quarterly surveyed 2000 employees worldwide. They focused on employees who were LGBTQ+ to find out how inclusive their workplace was for them.

On September 21, 2020, there was a presentation by the AASUA (Association of Academic Staff of University of Alberta) and NASA (Non-Academic Staff Association) to their memberships.
