Results from Hours of Work Grievance
SFU has agreed to fully compensate two APSA members on an hour-for-hour basis for extra hours (overtime) worked. The members were compensated either by time off in lieu or monetarily. SFU has acknowledged that the time-in-lieu documents imposed by the leadership involved were invalid.

APSA is continuing discussions with the University to come to an agreement during these challenging times — an agreement that is in your best interests. We are committed to working collaboratively with the University to achieve this. If an agreement can't be reached, we will proceed to formal bargaining. Arbitrations and Grievances
APSA is currently preparing for three arbitrations, the Colin Taylor Award arbitration and two individual member arbitrations: one on hours of work and another on human rights. We can't disclose any details of these member arbitrations due to confidentiality issues.
