On Friday, June 18, the ratification vote closed with 313 members voting 90% in favour of the extending the current Memorandum of Agreement with SFU for another two years. Extending the agreement from 2010-2012, which was recommended by the Executive, means that there will be no changes to the salary scale or to the benefits members receive during the two year period. However, as with previous years, step increases will continue annually (on July 1, 2010 and July 1, 2011).
Having already been approved by the Board of Governors, the agreement has, as of today, also been approved by PSEC.
