At
the recent AGM, members voted in favour of postponing the voting on the resolution to make
last year's dues increase permanent,
due to CUPE's job action and time constraints.
Next Meeting
A special meeting to vote on the resolution will be held after Christmas, no later than Feb. 15, 2013.
Approved Motion
Be
it resolved to postpone the vote on Agenda Item #5 (resolution for the
one-year dues increase from 0.45% to 0.61%, approved in November 2011, be made permanent) to no later than February 15, 2013.
And, be it resolved to extend the current dues rate of 0.61%, expiring Dec. 31, 2012, to the time of the vote.
