Please ensure hybrid work is protected. This is my top priority. I have recently had one of my WFH days removed. My team now only gets 1 per week. I’d rather have 2 WFH days per week and no salary increase.
On temporary work
As a temporary worker, job security is a major concern. Currently, there is no clear policy about whether or when a temporary employee can become a permanent employee. Staying temporary for an extended period can be stressful and impact mental well-being, as well as work quality. It would be helpful to have a set timeline, such as after one or two years, for transitioning temporary employees to permanent positions.
On work schedules
Additionally, make it more accessible/common to have the work model that's to work more hours each day and take every other Friday off which has been utilized in some departments.

Budget cuts have now made me take on my old role, plus my new role I applied for, because we cannot hire for my old role, and there is too much work for it not to be filled.
Constant anxiety about my job security; difficulty in concentrating on work; difficulty believing work for the university is worth it; stress over indecision about leaving the university; generally feeling bad all the time about the university not caring about staff, resulting in my not wanting to work here.'
