- Your Dean or department head must approve this leave, and it is subject to funding availability and operational considerations.

Who can apply for this leave?
Full-time and Part-time Employees in Continuing Positions can apply for university-funded Professional Development Leave or Departmentally Funded Professional Development Leave after completing six (6) years of continuous service.
