Every office has its share of “politics” – one-upmanships, people vying for promotions, cliques and gossip.

People often think it’s necessary to “play the game” in order to get ahead. However, it is possible to succeed in a principled way, without getting pulled into the office politics.

This presentation will illustrate the importance of knowing, living, and demonstrating your values in the workplace. You will,

  • get ideas on how to network effectively,
  • tips on how to respond when you suspect someone is trying to undermine you, and,
  • be introduced to ways of genuinely making yourself indispensable.
