This lively and inter-active presentation, will discuss the documents used for Personal and Estate
Planning. Personal Planning is about making arrangements while you're living, but
no longer able to make decisions for yourself. Estate Planning provides
instructions after your death.

Participants will learn Estate Planning strategies such as,

  • naming Beneficiaries for all accounts with
    Rights of Survivorship,
  • Joint Tenancy for real estate,
  • making charitable donations outside of a
    Will,
  • ‘intestate’ (death without a Will),
  • entitlement to the Estate under the Wills,
Estates and Succession Act (WESA), and,
  • the Probate process.
