Ideas and approaches for positive
self-advocacy

Are
you taking thoughtful and deliberate steps to achieve your career goals? What should you do when you feel like you’re
being treated unfairly at work?

Do you have
the tools and the confidence to proactively and positively bring up workplace
issues that are of concern to you? Do
you understand when you should handle concerns on your own, and when you should
seek additional help?

These are just
some of the questions that leadership and workplace communication expert Merge
Gupta-Sunderji will answer.

The
focus in this session is two-fold:

  1. Learning specific tactics to positively
and respectfully speak up to achieve your objectives. These will include tools to position yourself
for increased credibility, and for initiating and carrying conversations with
    clarity.

  2. Building confidence to take constructive action to advocate on your
    behalf.
If you’d like to learn specific
ideas on how to convey your message succinctly and clearly with composure and
control, and get closer to the outcomes you desire, then this learning program
will be a good investment of your time.
