Building and Sustaining a Psychologically Safe and Healthy Workplace

It's
what we all want - a safe place to work. This workshop helps
participants identify bullying and harassment, understand their
responsibilities and, learn how to support a psychologically safe and
healthy workplace.

The Canadian Mental Health presenter will also provide insight into WorkSafeBC’s
mental disorder legislation
and new occupational health and safety
policies to support that Act.


What you will learn

  • What is meant by workplace bullying and harassment.
  • The responsibilities of employers, supervisors and employees with respect to workplace bullying and harassment.
  • Steps to address the hazards of workplace bullying and harassment.
  • Other factors which can compromise or enhance
    psychological health and safety in the workplace and their potential
    impacts.
  • How to recognize and address psychological health and safety risks in the workplace.
  • How to develop strategies to support a psychologically safe and healthy workplace.
