Andrew supports the APSA Executive and Board and the various committees by researching legal issues, liaising with legal counsel, maintaining the financial books and budget and supervising the Association’s day-to-day operations. He loves seeing members enjoying themselves at social events and hearing that a PD event has made a difference in a member’s life.

Lakshmi joined the APSA team as Communications Coordinator in October 2018. She keeps members updated on the behind-the-scenes work APSA carries out on their behalf and fosters two-way communication with the Association’s 1500+ members. Lakshmi also writes content for APSA Central, the Association’s website and oversees all communication channels.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Psychology
  • Brainstation UX Design certification
  • Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles (Certificate, HarvardX)
  • Seven years of experience in using Social Media platforms for branding
  • Eight years of experience in design, brand strategy, and marketing strategy for small female-led businesses
  • 10+ years of CSS, HTML and PHP programming knowledge
  • 10+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office for professional marketing and communications collateral
  • MSc in Education with expertise in designing curriculum, training, and implementation have worked in an agile environment collaborating with a variety of departments and stakeholders

Tracey Ferris

Tracey has worked at BCIT in a managerial role, is an SFU alum and has experience working with SFU’s Wellness and Recovery office and assisting with bullying and harassment investigations. Before this, she worked extensively in media and market research for companies such as CTV and Olympic Broadcast Services.
