Over the past 12 years, Anne has played a pivotal role in supporting the APSA membership. Through her strong leadership and guidance, she has built and maintained a number of working committees and a strong, effective, governing Board. Her negotiation and problem-solving skills, along with her determination, has ensured that our members have been well represented both individually and collectively. Anne always insisted members be treated with fairness and respect. She has worked tirelessly to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements while maintaining a collaborative and collegial working relationship with the university administration.

APSA's Presdent, Wanda Dekleva, also wanted to share the impact Anne had on her life, "It has been a pleasure working with Anne over the past 6 years!  I still remember the first time I sat down with Anne to talk about how I might be involved with APSA. At the time, I had no idea that this initial conversation would take me on a journey that would be so filled with learning and laughter!  Anne has been a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend."

In her retirement, Anne and her husband Lee, along with her cat Ms. Kitty, plan to move to the beautiful island of Haida Gwaii where she hopes to raise chickens and enjoy the wealth of books the world has to offer.
