Dear APSA members,
In light of the orders of BC and Vancouver health officials concerning COVID-19, the staff at the APSA office are doing the majority of their work remotely.
We are still available to support you, our members, so do not hesitate to contact us either by phone (778.782.5423) or email (email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com) with anything related to your terms and conditions of employment.
APSA has moved any in-person appointments to phone appointments. If absolutely necessary, we can still arrange in-person representation for you.
If you have questions or concerns about working remotely, sick leave or any other leave options, please contact us about your specific situation.
All members who are feeling sick, please report your illness to your supervisor, even if you're working remotely. Your health and the health of your loved ones is crucial. SFU will not require medical notes for illnesses related to COVID-19 or flu at this time to prevent overburdening the medical system. (See SFU FAQs)
All of our members, including our temporary members, have access to EFAP during this time. Homewood health offers short-term counselling and support over the phone or online.
Stay well and healthy during these unprecedented times.
